The Potluck Detroit 2025: Art in Partnership

May 23–26, 2025

The Patton Sisters Center for the Healing Arts and The Talking Dolls Studio proudly present the third annual The Potluck Detroit Art & Music Festival, themed Art in Partnership. Opening Memorial Day Weekend (May 23–26, 2025), this year’s festival celebrates the power of collaboration through art, music, poetry, and holistic wellness.

This year’s festival celebrates the power of collaboration through art, music, poetry, and holistic wellness.

The Potluck Detroit centers healing through creativity, offering space for artists and community members to connect, grow, and be vulnerable together. Featured artist and Art Director Konstance Patton Ke-nee-go-keshek will present a beaded and embellished photobooth installation in collaboration with Music Director Wes Taylor. This interactive art space invites participants to co-create moments of joy, expression, and beauty in real time.

Visual artists include Ruby Flwrs, Venusloc, Curtis Wallace, and more. Musical performances feature Miz Korona, 14KT, Tall Black Guy, Ideeyah, Ruby Flwrs, Buff1, and Joel Fluent Green.

Wellness Director Kendra Patton curates hands-on workshops including Juicing 101, yoga, breathwork, zine-making for social justice, sound healing, and more. Wes Taylor also presents a producer showcase, live music, printmaking, and community conversations.

The weekend concludes with a community Potluck meal, where we break bread, celebrate our creative labor, and nourish one another in joy and togetherness.
